Your Secret’s Safe With Us And So Is Your Company’s Data

Come on, you can tell us. You don’t have to keep it to yourself any longer.

We’ve all been there: We’ve had our sacred trust betrayed by someone we thought we could count on.

Like the time we went Christmas shopping with our three-year-old, trusting him not to tell Daddy what we were getting him, only to have Daddy ask THAT VERY NIGHT if we remembered to get extra blades.

And we don’t even own a saw!

Well, none of these horrific things happen to clients of DK/RK Services, “Where You’re More Than A Number,” and where your business’s data is so secure even YOU can’t get it.

Okay, that last part isn’t true. You can always get your own data. But nobody else can. Not Daddy, not the cute kid from Home Room, and not some “marketing partner” who scams people by selling them shoddy power-tool accessories.

How do we assure you that your information is safe with your Friendly Bean Counter (FBC) (me)?

We use one of the best information-sharing programs ever devised for communicating and collaborating with our clients.

We also use rock-solid collaboration and cloud-based data management programs to securely manage information internally.

And every one of our workstations is fully protected from EVERY kind of external threat (suspicious emails, web threats, hacks, you name it) with the very best smart security systems known to humankind.

So you can count on it: Your information is safe with us.

And that’s no secret!

Discussion Questions

  1. 1
How much would you pay for four unopened boxes of spare saw blades?
  2. 2
On whom did you have a crush back in school? Don’t worry, we won’t blab
  3. 3
Wouldn’t it be nice to have your business’s data safely guarded by the best security measures known to the bookkeeping industry?

Don’t forget: at DK/RK Services, you’re always “more than a number.” We WANT to take care of your bookkeeping, professionally and personably, so you can focus on running and growing a great business enterprise! Please check out our many enthusiastic FIVE STAR online reviews (Yelp, Google, Facebook, you name it). We look forward to earning our next great review from YOU.

Howl-dy! I’m Sadie.
Dottie is my person.

Sadie’s Paw Prints

Keep Your Best Friend In The Best Shape

Woof, Sadie here, Dottie’s faithful companion and part-time supervisor, and today I’m using this space to offer some helpful reminder barks about keeping your dog in tip-top shape, health wise.

You probably know that you need to keep your furry pal’s vaccinations up to date, and you should be taking her to the vet for annual check-ups. Also, make sure you’re providing just the right kind of protection from parasites.

(Parasites! Hate ‘em! Am I right?)

But the little everyday things mean a lot, too. Just like you two-leggers, we dogs need the right nutrition, lots of fresh clean water, and plenty of exercise.

If you check out your dog’s water bowl, and you realize no sane person would drink from that muddy mess, it’s time to change that water out!

And, of course, getting us the right kind of food for our age, breed, and condition is important.

Also, speaking of exercise, it wouldn’t kill YOU to get out there and play a little fetch. Do you know what I mean? I didn’t want to say anything, but you could stand to shed some of that winter coat yourself.

Your dog is your faithful friend. You want to keep her around for a long time, don’t you? If you do, believe me, the feeling’s mutual.

Bow, wow!

Angel Covers

Non-Profit Spotlight

Meet Heidi Cortez, New Executive Director Of Angel Covers

We’re so proud of the work done by Angel Covers, one of our favorite non-profit organizations and one we’re thrilled to support.

Here’s some exciting news: Angel Covers has been fortunate enough to find Heidi Cortez, and hire her as the organization’s new Executive Director.

“I’m excited to join Angel Covers at this pivotal moment in their growth,” Heidi says. “The focus on helping children in countries that struggle to provide basic educational opportunities and health care has been a passion of mine since starting my career in the non-profit space.”

Heidi takes over for founder and longtime Executive Director Kari Fillmore, who’s led the organization since its inception more than two decades ago.

If you haven’t done so, check out the Angel Covers website. Learn about the GATE (Girls Advocacy Through Education) Program, and the important Kenyan health care project known as the Vill-Angel Clinic.

You can even sponsor a disadvantaged child!

We hope you’ll want to join Heidi and the rest of the Angel Covers staff in furthering these worthwhile programs with your donations or volunteerism.

Thank You!
